Rock The Dock Music Festival

This year’s Rock the Dock Music Festival will take place on Friday, July 12th, 2019 at The Lake George Steamboat Company in Lake George, NY. The music festival started in 2017 with the celebration of The Steamboat Company’s 200th anniversary. In the wake of its success, promoters made the decision to turn Rock the Dock a yearly festival!
Rock the Dock Music Festival in Lake George, NY is for all ages and will feature live music on the pier, surrounded by the beautiful Adirondack mountains. Enjoy the sounds of several well-known jam bands, (including Lake George’s own Formula 5), from the dock or aboard the steamboats that surround the stage. This truly is one of the most unique experiences you will get from a live concert.
Rock the Dock will not only feature live music but will also include many local craft, food and beer vendors, as well as a merchandise tent featuring posters, t-shirts and other band memorabilia.
25% of all ticket proceeds go to The FUND for Lake George, so come enjoy good bands, delicious food, and tasty brews all while helping to keep the lake clean and pristine!
Formula 5 is a four-piece improvisational rock band out of Albany, NY, featuring Joe Davis (guitar/vocals), Greg Marek (drums), James Woods (bass), and Matt Richards (keys/vocals). With a diverse catalogue of distinctive originals and familiar covers, Formula 5 will keep your feet moving and your mind engaged. Blending high-energy Rock n Roll with tasteful grooves, there is an emphasis on collective, goal-driven improvisation. Every performance is unique, leaving the listener excited for where the band may venture with their broad range of styles at their next show.
Scott Hachey, Casey Russell, Chris Duffy and Cody Wales have steadily built upon their national notoriety in a very short period of time with a passion for music that is as infectious as their songs. Hailing from Denver, their development has been aided by the warm hearth of the Colorado music scene, and quickly setting themselves apart from the pack as one of the state’s premier acts.
West End Blend
Since their conception, Funk/Soul band West End Blend has been playing their version of Funk and Soul in venues all over the Northeast. Fronted by vocalist Erica T. Bryan, the band pays homage to classic throwback sounds while adding their own distinct vibe and flair. Behind her, the Blend packs a horn section, two guitars, bass, keyboards and drums onto stages every night. F
Eastbound Jesus is a six-piece acoustic/electric band from the small town of Greenwich, NY. They formed in the fall of 2010 in an old barn on the outskirts of their hometown and huddled around a hot wood-stove, they began writing music right away. Adam Brockway, Carl and Luke Anderson, Dave Wright, Dylan Robinson, and Zack Infante take inspiration from all over the music spectrum to form a style all their own.
Swimmer is an experimental rock-fusion quintet based out of Burlington, VT. Their music transcends convention by fusing the band’s roots in rock, funk, jazz and electronica to create a unique and powerful sound. Conceived in 2014 at New Hampshire’s Plymouth State University, Swimmer has since cultivated an intimate fanbase through captivating composition and distinct live performances.
Mike Powell is a traveling storyteller and prolific writer who garnered international attention with his song “Twenty One Rounds” written as part of the Acoustic Guitar Project. He has toured with Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion and shared the stage with David Lindley, Martin Sexton, Shooter Jennings & many more His sound is honest, songs are heartfelt and his shows are real.
JT Maple & Band
JT Maple is an artist specializing in guitar, vocals, graphics, audio/video production, and illustration. For the past ten years, he has made a career for himself, working with such artists as the renowned Donnie McClurkin, Antonique Smith, Eric Roberson and a host of others. JT has been traveling the east coast performing his music, such as his first album, Worlds Away, and his latest release, “Floating.”
